The purpose of the MCH After School Classes is to provide pre-school - elementary school children with an opportunity for supplemental classes. These classes are taught by volunteers who are under the direction of the MCH Director Janet Allocco and are held Monday - Friday 3:30 - 5:00 for six week sessions.

We offer Yum Yum Cooking classes for ages 4 - 6 years old and Rhythm and Exercise classes for ages 4 & 5 year olds and Junior Cooking Classes for children in grades 2nd - 4th; which runs from 3:30 - 5:30 for a four week session.

We also have Knitting, Sewing & Stitching for children in grades 3rd - 5th. There are also Arts & Crafts for children 4 years old - 2nd grade and Art for Kids classes for children in grades 2nd - 5th.

We have One Day Workshops for the holidays.

The classes are open to any child from 4 years old through 5th grade. Class space is limited and is on a first come first serve basis.  The classes vary each session.

Information about the classes / sign up dates and times are sent out through the individual Madison elementary schools newsletters or the local newspaper.  Forms can be downloaded from our website or picked up the the Madison Community House.

Classes are run in the Fall, Winter and Spring only.
